About Sara Plouffe

I am a strategic, results-driven supply chain executive with deep expertise in procurement, cost optimization, and supplier performance across complex operations. Early in my career, I led enterprise critical vendor management and multi-million-dollar cost reduction initiatives in the financial services sector, building a strong foundation in governance, operational discipline, and process rigor.

I am passionate about helping businesses strengthen procurement, optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and bring structure to their operations.

In subsequent leadership roles, I built procurement capabilities from the ground up—establishing sourcing strategy, supplier governance, and operating cadence—and scaled those capabilities into fully integrated supply chain organizations supporting multi-brand growth. That experience shapes how I partner with organizations that are growing faster than their current structure can support. Today, through Vision & Vine, I work directly with leadership teams to bring operational clarity, recover costs, and build supply chains designed to scale; delivering measurable, lasting impact on the organizations I serve.

My Mission

My purpose is to deliver measurable, lasting impact across the companies I serve unlocking value that grows over time and building operations that endure beyond our engagement.

I’m married, have two active little boys, and live in Mooresville, North Carolina. I named Vision & Vine with two things in mind: my vision to build a lasting legacy for my family and for the families of those I serve, and the inspiration of John 15: 5 which says “For I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me, you can do nothing”. These guiding principles shape how I partner with businesses, focusing on growth, structure, and lasting impact.
